Skoda Karoq Electric Steering Column Adjustment Problem

Thanks for the quick reply! Steering feels normal, no change there. It's just the electric adjustment that's dead. I haven't checked the fuses yet, to be honest. Do you know which fuse specifically handles the steering column adjustment? I don't want to pull them all out randomly.

Given that the steering itself feels normal and the error memory points to an electrical issue, a defective cable or plug connection is the most probable cause. Checking the fuses is a good first step, the owner's manual should have a diagram. However, it might be difficult to pinpoint the exact wiring without proper diagnostic tools. Considering the potential for further electrical damage, and the fact that you are getting a steering failure message, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop.

Alright, just wanted to share that the workshop confirmed a defective cable/plug connection, as suspected. 95€ later and the steering column adjustment is working perfectly again. Thanks for the help!

Sounds like a frustrating issue. The error memory storing an error code is definitely the first clue. Does the steering feel heavier than usual, or is it just the adjustment that's not working? Have you checked the fuses related to the steering system?
