Skoda Karoq electrical issues
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Skoda Karoq with a Diesel engine is experiencing random error messages, warning signals, and failures in audio and navigation systems, suggesting inactive control units. The suspected cause is a defective cable connection to the BUS system, as indicated by a full error memory of related faults. The solution involves diagnosing and repairing the faulty connection, which was confirmed and resolved by fixing a defective cable connection to the BUS system.

The scan tool showed a bunch of errors, mostly communication faults. You mentioned a BUS system issue. What exactly was the problem with yours, and how did you resolve it?

Mine did the same thing. The warning signal would come and go. A service required message popped up randomly. It was a dodgy connection in the BUS system wiring harness. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop that knows engine diagnostics and OBD-II systems. They'll be able to pinpoint the faulty cable.

Thanks for the info. It was a defective cable connection to the BUS system, like you thought. Cost 155€ to fix. I appreciate the help.

That sounds familiar. I had something similar with my Karoq, although mine is an older model. Sporadic errors and systems shutting down. Sounds like a BUS system issue like you mentioned. Have you used a scan tool to check the error memory?
