Skoda Karoq Engine Stalling at Idle

I'm experiencing some very frustrating issues with my 2023 Skoda Karoq gasoline engine. The check engine light illuminated, and the engine stalls at idle. Performance is noticeably reduced. Suspect it might be the fuel volume regulator, potentially due to a high-pressure pump issue. Any insights or similar experiences?

Whoa, that sounds rough. I had something similar happen with my Karoq. Check engine light was on, and the engine would just die at stoplights. Really annoying. Did you notice any changes in your fuel efficiency, or perhaps some engine misfire codes when you scanned it?

Indeed. Fuel efficiency has taken a hit. Engine misfire is happening. How did you resolve your similar situation? Was it also related to car sensors?

Yep, sounds very familiar. For me, it turned out to be exactly what you're suspecting: fuel regulator. The car sensors were throwing all sorts of codes, leading to rough idling and stalling. I'd strongly suggest getting it checked at a workshop. It's probably best not to drive it much further in that condition.

Many thanks for the swift response and confirmation. I took it to a trusted mechanic. As suspected, the fuel volume regulator was indeed defective, leading to the high-pressure pump malfunctioning. Repair set me back 1510€. Appreciate your help.
