Skoda Kodiaq AC system problem

My 2022 Skoda Kodiaq with a gasoline engine is giving me headaches. The A/C system simply won't engage. It has done 41764 km. The air conditioning no longer cools, and predictably, an error is stored in the error memory. I suspect it might be related to undervoltage in the vehicle, but I'm looking for any advice before I take it to the workshop. Has anyone else experienced their A/C system shutting off? Maybe an issue with the AC relay?

I had a similar issue with my Skoda Kodiaq, but mine has a diesel engine. The symptoms you describe, especially the intermittent failure and the stored error code, suggest a potential problem with the HVAC system's electrical supply. Have you checked the pressure switch? Some owners have had problems with it.

You mentioned the pressure switch, can you tell me more? Was the pressure switch issue also related to undervoltage, or was it a separate problem?

In my case, the pressure switch was indeed the problem, and it was related to undervoltage. I would advise you to visit a qualified workshop to properly diagnose the problem. They will be able to pinpoint the exact cause and perform the necessary repairs.

The workshop confirmed undervoltage. They replaced the AC relay, and the air conditioning is now working. Total cost was 240€, thanks for the help.
