MOST bus fault huh? Sounds nasty. Had a similar issue with my old BMW. The whole iDrive system went haywire. No sound, navigation dead, the works. It was like the car's brain had a glitch. Could be a dodgy control unit messing up the bus network.

Interesting. When you say similar, was it also related to the fiber optics or the bus system itself? And how did you eventually solve the issue with your BMW?

Yeah, it was definitely something to do with the bus network. They said it was like a traffic jam on the car's internal highway, preventing the audio and nav systems from communicating. Honestly, I just took it to the shop and they sorted it. It wasn't cheap, but they had the right equipment to diagnose the fault in the bus system. Probably best to get it checked by a professional with the right car diagnostics tools.

The workshop confirmed a faulty amplifier within the MOST bus network. Replacement cost me around 1000€. Everything is working again now. Thank you for the advice. It seems like these complex data transmission systems can be a real headache when something goes wrong.

The navigation in my 2020 Škoda KODIAQ shows a different location than where I actually am. This causes the adaptive cruise control to maintain a different speed than what is prescribed for the current road section. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Start by checking if your navigation system's maps and software are up to date, as outdated maps can cause location inaccuracies. If the issue persists, try resetting the navigation system to see if it resolves the problem. Let me know if this helps or if you have any further questions!

Make sure to also check the GPS antenna for any obstructions or damage, as this can affect location accuracy. If the problem continues, it might be worth having a professional inspect the system. Keep me updated on your progress or if you need more assistance!
