Skoda Kodiaq auto transmission issues

My Skoda Kodiaq built in with a diesel engine has a problem. At some kilometers the check engine light and transmission indicator light came on. The gearbox slips, shifts uncleanly and makes grinding noises. Error is stored in the error memory. I suspect the automatic transmission converter is defective. Anyone experienced similar issues with a converter fault or the lock-up clutch?

The error code was P0741. The RPM does fluctuate a bit when it slips. What was the solution in your case?

In my case, a replacement of the torque converter was necessary. I recommend consulting a certified workshop for a comprehensive diagnostic assessment and subsequent repair.
