Skoda Kodiaq Brake Pedal Feedback

My 2023 Skoda Kodiaq with a gasoline engine is giving me some weird feedback through the brake pedal. The brakes feel off. Not exactly squeaky brakes, but something's not right. Could this be related to undervoltage? I read somewhere that it can mess with the braking system. Has anyone experienced anything similar with their disc brakes?

Worn brakes on a Kodiaq? That's a bit unusual with that mileage. Squeaky brakes could be a simple thing like brake dust, or something more serious. Did you check the brake fluid level and condition? Is it low or discolored? Are you getting any ABS warnings?

Good questions! The brake fluid seems okay at a glance. No ABS lights. But what's the connection between undervoltage and hydraulic brakes? I've heard about it on other forums, but it doesn't make sense.

Electrical issues causing brake problems are more common than you think with modern cars. The ABS and other brake assist systems rely on a stable voltage. If it's fluctuating, it can cause weird issues with the hydraulic brakes. Honestly, it's probably best to get it checked out by a workshop. They can properly diagnose the electrical system and the braking components.

The strange brake pedal feedback was indeed linked to undervoltage. I had the electrical issues resolved, and the mechanic recommended replacing the worn brake rotors and pads. It cost me 240€ total. Thanks for the insight!
