Skoda Kodiaq Diesel Glow Plug Issue

My 2021 Skoda Kodiaq diesel car has a persistent glow plug malfunction. The preheating indicator lamp remains illuminated after starting, and there's a diagnostic error code. I suspect an engine misfire. Has anyone encountered similar issues?

I had a similar experience with my Kodiaq. The preheating light stayed on, and the engine felt a bit rough. Did you notice any difference in engine combustion or any engine misfire, especially when the car is cold?

Indeed, I observed a less than optimal engine combustion phase, particularly during cold starts. Could you elaborate on the specifics of your situation? Did the check engine light illuminate, and were there any other discernible symptoms?

Yes, the check engine light did come on eventually. The engine misfire was most noticeable when starting. Based on what you're describing, it sounds like the same problem. I'd recommend getting it checked out at a workshop soon. It's likely a faulty glow plug, and it's better to address it before it causes further issues.

The glow plugs have been replaced, and the error has been cleared. Total cost was 440€. Thanks for the corroboration and advice.
