Skoda Kodiaq Electrical Issue

My 2022 Skoda Kodiaq diesel is exhibiting perplexing behavior. Sporadic errors appear in driving mode, the malfunction indicator illuminates intermittently, and various systems, primarily audio/navigation, fail. Control units temporarily become unresponsive. Engine diagnostics reveal a stored error, suggesting a defective cable connection to the BUS system. Service required warning is active. Has anyone encountered a similar issue, and can confirm that the cable is indeed the issue?

I have a Kodiaq too, not sure of the year though. Sounds awfully familiar. I had similar gremlins, warning lights flickering, audio cutting out, that sort of thing. Did a scan tool show anything specific?

Did your scan tool also point towards a BUS system issue, or did it show seemingly unrelated errors across different modules? I'm trying to avoid unnecessary replacements.

The scan was a mess, codes all over the place. It was hard to pin down, but my mechanic suspected a central communication problem. Considering the symptoms, I'd say there's a good chance it's the same. Probably best to get it checked at a workshop to be sure.

Proper engine diagnostics at the workshop confirmed a defective cable connection to the BUS system. Repair cost was 155€. Thanks for the advice.
