Skoda Kodiaq Engine Problems

Good shout! The dashboard light does come on. Where exactly should I be looking for the battery voltage issue? Anything specific to check on the ignition switch?

Since the dashboard lights illuminate normally, the battery itself may not be the core issue, perhaps the battery connections. However, considering the engine shuts off randomly, a faulty ignition switch seems a more relevant cause. A visit to a workshop equipped to diagnose such electrical issues might be more effective, though I'm not entirely certain.

Big thanks for the insight! Turns out it was a defective fuse related to the car ignition. Replaced it for 52€ and now the Kodiaq is running smoothly again.

I also own a Skoda Kodiaq, and experienced similar symptoms. Have you checked the car battery voltage? A low voltage could cause issues with the ignition system. When you switch on the car ignition, do dashboard lights illuminate?
