Skoda Kodiaq rich fuel mixture issue
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Skoda Kodiaq with a gasoline engine is experiencing symptoms of a rich fuel mixture, including reduced engine power, check engine light, rough running, high fuel consumption, and jerking during acceleration. The initial hypothesis suggested defective injection valves or injectors. After investigation, the problem was confirmed to be a faulty fuel injector, leading to the replacement of all four injectors.

The oxygen sensor was tested and found to be operating within specifications. Could you elaborate on the specifics of your Volvo issue?

In my case, the issue was traced back to faulty fuel injectors. If the oxygen sensor is fine, that is the next place I would look. Given the symptoms, a workshop visit is advisable.

Confirmed. The issue was indeed a defective fuel injector. All four injectors were replaced. The cost amounted to 515€. I appreciate the assistance.

I encountered a similar problem with my Volvo a few years back. Check engine light illuminated, rough idling, and poor fuel economy. Was the oxygen sensor checked?
