Skoda Kodiaq Washer Heater Problem

I'm pulling my hair out here! My 2023 Skoda Kodiaq with a gasoline engine has a windshield washer heater that's decided to take a vacation. I'm getting an error stored in the memory, and the spray nozzles are freezing up solid in this weather. I'm pretty sure the washer fluid is good for these temperatures. I suspect it's the cable or plug connection that's gone bad, but where do I even start looking? I've already checked for clogged nozzles, and that's not the issue. Has anyone else experienced this?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Volvo a while back. Have you checked the fuse box? A blown fuse can cause all sorts of weird electrical gremlins.

Interesting. Whereabouts is the fuse for the washer heater usually located? And wouldn't that also affect the washer motor, or is it a separate circuit?

The fuse wasn't the problem in my case, only the washer heater was affected, not the motor. I'd still check it, but honestly, with a faulty connection flagged, it's probably best to get it checked at a workshop before you start tearing things apart.

You were spot on! Turns out, it was a dodgy connection. Took it to the workshop, they found a corroded plug on the washer heater cable. 95€ later, and I have fully functioning washer jets again. Thanks for the advice!
