Yes, the check engine light is on, and the OBD2 scanner indicates a misfire on cylinder 3. Did the error code you received also point to a specific cylinder? And did it mention anything about emissions?

Indeed, the error code specified a misfire on cylinder 2 in my case. The mechanic confirmed that the injection nozzle was the culprit. Given your symptoms and the misfire code, a faulty injector seems highly probable. I recommend taking your vehicle to a workshop for a proper diagnosis and repair. Ignoring it could lead to more severe engine damage and gasoline wastage.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It proved invaluable. I had the injection nozzles inspected, and indeed, one was defective. The repair cost was 515€. Now the vehicle is running smoothly again. I appreciate your help.

That does sound problematic. I own a Skoda Octavia, and I experienced similar symptoms not too long ago. Rough idling, diminished performance, and increased fuel consumption were my main indicators. Have you checked for any error codes using an OBD2 scanner? A misfire could trigger the check engine light.
