Skoda Octavia Diesel Automatic Transmission Problem
Hello, I'm experiencing some problems with my 2013 Skoda Octavia diesel car (200,000 km). The automatic transmission isn't shifting gears as usual and is exhibiting illogical shifting behavior. I'm also experiencing a loss of engine power. My car won't go over 80 km/h and the gears are shifting erratically. This problem particularly arises when the car is warm; it's fine when cold, but the same problem returns once it warms up again. My mechanic replaced the intake manifold, but the problem persists. What do you suggest I do?

Start by checking the transmission fluid level and condition. Low or dirty transmission fluid can cause shifting issues. Make sure the fluid is at the correct level and is clean. If it's low or dirty, consider having it changed. If the problem continues, it might be worth having a professional inspect the transmission control module or other electronic components. Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions.
