Spark plugs and oxygen sensor, you say? How would I test those myself? What about the timing belt, could that be related to the engine misfire?

I'm no mechanic, so I wouldn't go poking around with the spark plugs if you don't know what you're doing. As for the timing belt, I'm not sure it would cause jerking, but I'm not an expert. If the light is on and the engine's jerking, I'd take it to a workshop instead of risking further damage.

Appreciate the insight. Took it to a workshop, turns out there was a leak in the exhaust system. Repair set me back 265€. Running smoothly now.

Uneven running, eh? Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Octavia, though it wasn't a hybrid. Did you check the spark plugs? Sometimes a faulty plug can cause engine misfire, leading to jerking. Could also be the oxygen sensor giving incorrect readings. Is the fuel pump working properly?
