Thanks for the quick reply! I did notice a coolant leak a while back, but I thought I fixed it. Where exactly did you find the leak, and what was the eventual radiator repair?

Okay, if you previously noted a coolant leak, that's likely your culprit. In my case, the leak was subtle, near one of the radiator hoses. The loss of coolant can definitely mess with the transmission's oil pressure and cause those symptoms. Given the error code and the history of a coolant leak, I'd advise getting it checked by a workshop. Don't keep driving it in emergency mode; you risk causing further damage.

Huge thanks for sharing your experience! It seems I had a similar issue with a defective cable or plug connection. The workshop confirmed it and fixed it for around 95€. Everything is working normal now.

Sounds like a sticky situation. I had something similar happen with my Octavia, although I can't recall the exact year. The transmission light and check engine light coming on at the same time is definitely a red flag. And emergency mode, yikes. Have you checked for any obvious coolant leak around the radiator or any signs of car overheating? Any coolant leak can lead to pressure problems. Also, did you perform any leak detection?
