Skoda Rapid cooling grille issue

I've got a 2022 Skoda Rapid with a gasoline engine and about 175000 km on the clock. Recently, I've been getting some weird readings the temperature gauge seems off, the check engine light is illuminated, and the engine is slow to warm up. The error code points to a restricted cooling grille. Anyone else run into this issue before?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Skoda Octavia. The check engine light was on and the car was taking ages to warm up. Do you know if the cooling grille is actively restricted, or is it just showing as restricted in the system? If it's active, it might be a sensor issue. Have you checked any of the coolant levels?

How would I know if the cooling grille is actively restricted versus just showing as restricted in the system? And where exactly is the sensor you're referring to located? Coolant levels are fine.

By actively restricted, I mean can you visually confirm the grille is stuck closed or partially closed when the car is running and should be open? If it appears physically fine, then it's likely a sensor or the actuator motor that controls the grille. Honestly, if you're not comfortable digging into the wiring and diagnostics, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. They can pinpoint the exact cause with their tools.

It was a defective fuse related to the cooling grille. Replaced it and everything's back to normal. Thanks for the help, the hint about the grille was spot on. Total cost 52€.
