Skoda Rapid ECU Problems

I'm having trouble. My 2015 Skoda Rapid with a gasoline engine is acting up. It's got 88766 km on it, and it's showing a software malfunction error in the error memory. General electrical malfunction, and the navigation system is completely dead. Has anyone experienced similar ECU problems?

Sounds familiar. I had similar electrical malfunction issues with my Rapid, though I can't remember the exact error codes. Did you check the basics like battery voltage?

Battery seems fine, mechanic also mentioned 'programming of the control unit implausible'. Was it the same for you?

Yep, sounds like my issue. It ended up being a software glitch in the control module. A software reset and recalibration should sort it, but you'll probably need to take it to a workshop with the right diagnostic tools.

Thanks for the help. The garage confirmed ECU problems. They did a software reset and recalibration. Everything is working now, it cost 240€.
