Skoda Rapid Radio Problems

I'm having radio issues with my Skoda Rapid, build year is , engine type is Diesel. The infotainment system shows an error, and the audio is dead. There's also an error stored. I suspect a defective antenna. Could that be it?

It could be a defective antenna. Are you experiencing radio interference or a weak signal in areas where reception was previously good? Did you check the antenna cable connection to the radio unit?

I haven't checked the cable connection yet. Where is the antenna booster located? Is it hard to reach? I also noticed some static noise recently, but I thought it was just the station.

Static noise and the error message suggest a faulty antenna. I don't know the exact location of the antenna booster. Given the error codes and symptoms, a workshop check is best. They can diagnose it properly and replace the antenna if needed.

The workshop visit confirmed the antenna was the issue, and the error memory showed related problems. The total cost was 255€, including labor. Thanks for the assistance.
