Thanks for your quick reply! I did check the fuses, they seem fine. I haven't located the alarm module yet. Do you, by any chance, know where it is located or where I can find information about it? And when you say 'alarm system module connector a wiggle', what exactly do you mean?

Yeah, sorry, by wiggle I meant just gently move the connector to see if it makes a difference, but be careful not to force anything! I didn't have any luck with it in my case, and honestly, messing with car electrics can be a pain. Given the error message and the estimated cost, I would probably just take it to a reliable workshop. It's probably just a corroded or loose connection as you suggested, but let them sort it out properly.

Just wanted to close the loop on this. Took it to the workshop and they confirmed the siren communication fault. They traced it to a dodgy connector, cleaned it up, and all is well. Cost me the expected 95€. Thanks for the advice, much appreciated!

Whoa, sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane. The alarm would randomly go off, or just not work at all. Have you tried checking the fuses? It might be something simple like that. Also, give the alarm system module connector a wiggle. Where is the alarm module in the Roomster?
