Skoda Roomster blower motor issue
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Skoda Roomster experienced a blower motor failure, suspected to be caused by a faulty AUC sensor or cabin air sensor, possibly due to a defective cable or plug connection. Another owner with a similar issue confirmed that the AUC sensor was identified as the problem, likely due to a faulty connection. The suggested solution is to have the sensor and connections professionally checked, with an estimated repair cost of around 95€.

Can you please elaborate on your experience with the AUC sensor? Did you also observe any error codes? Furthermore, could you provide more details regarding the specific symptoms you encountered?

Yes, same issue. Blower wouldn't work. I didn't get any error codes myself, but the workshop identified the AUC sensor quickly. They said it was probably a faulty connection. Might be best to get it checked professionally.

I appreciate you sharing your experience. It appears the suspected defective cable or plug connection of the cabin air sensor was indeed the root cause. The total expenditure amounted to approximately 95€, a figure I deem acceptable. Thank you once again for your assistance.

I have a Roomster too. Had a similar blower issue. Check the AUC sensor, it might be the culprit.
