Battery terminals... you mean like, physically check if they're tight? And what about the check engine light?

Yeah, physically check the battery terminals. Give them a wiggle. A loose connection can cause the engine to not start, or even engine stalling or an engine surge while driving. As for the check engine light, if it's on, that's a big clue. Could be a faulty sensor or something more serious, related to fuel injection. If cleaning the terminals doesn't fix it, you really need to get it hooked up to a diagnostic tool to read the error codes. Best to take it to a workshop before it causes more damage to the engine software.

Thanks for the input. Turned out you were right about the battery connections. Cleaned them up and all good. Cost 155€ at the shop.

Sounds like a right pain. Have you checked the basics like the battery terminals? Loose connections can cause all sorts of weird issues, especially with modern cars that rely so heavily on electronics. Could be messing with the fuel injection or even the engine software. Does the check engine light come on?
