Summary of the thread
A 2007 Skoda Roomster displayed an error with the emergency call system, indicated by a message on the speedometer and a warning light. The issue was suspected to be caused by a bad cable or plug. Do you remember the diagnostic codes? And where's the telematics unit in the Corsa? It might help me find it on the Roomster.

I don't remember the codes, sorry. In the Corsa, the unit was behind the glove compartment, but I don't know about your car. Since it's a safety issue, take it to a workshop.

Solved it. It was a faulty connector, like I thought. 95€ later, the error disappeared. Thanks for the advice!

I remember a similar problem with the emergency call system on my old Vauxhall Corsa. The diagnostic codes were pointing to a telematics module issue, I think. Check the connections to the telematics unit, but I can't promise it'll fix it.
