Skoda Roomster Suspension Error
Summary of the thread
A 2006 Skoda Roomster owner is experiencing a suspension error related to damping adjustment, resulting in a warning light on the speedometer and a bumpier ride. The suspected cause is a cable or plug connection issue. A similar issue was resolved by checking for faulty connections, such as corrosion on sensor connectors. The problem was confirmed to be a dodgy connection, which was fixed for 95€, restoring normal ride comfort and clearing the error.

Interesting. When you say similar, was it also throwing a code and affecting the ride? I'm trying to avoid replacing the whole vehicle suspension if it's just a loose wire. How did you pinpoint the cable issue?

Yes, error code and bumpy ride, just like yours. It was like driving a bouncy castle. In my case, the mechanic found corrosion on one of the suspension system sensor connectors. I'd suggest getting it checked professionally unless you're confident with a multimeter.

Thanks for the input. Turns out it was exactly as suspected: a dodgy connection. 95€ later and the error is cleared, the light's gone, and the ride comfort is back. Appreciate the help.

Sounds familiar. Had a similar suspension tuning issue on my old Volvo. Have you checked the basics like the cable and plug connections? A faulty connection can trigger all sorts of weirdness with the car damping.
