Skoda Scala Blower Motor Issue

I am writing to inquire about a potential issue with my Skoda Scala, a gasoline engine car from . I have observed that the blower motor is not functioning. Diagnostic analysis indicates a fault with the AUC sensor, otherwise known as the air quality or odor sensor. The likely cause, according to preliminary assessments, is a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone encountered a similar problem? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

I also own a Skoda Scala. I experienced a similar issue with the HVAC system. Did you check the air conditioning sensor? The blower motor malfunctioned intermittently. I suggest you take a look there.

Thank you for your response. Could you provide further details regarding the sensor's location and any specific checks you performed? I'd like to exhaust all possibilities before seeking professional assistance.

In my case, the issue was indeed the connection to the air quality sensor. The workshop identified corrosion on the connector pins. I would suggest having the connection professionally inspected and cleaned or replaced. It's a relatively minor repair, but critical for the HVAC system's proper operation.

I appreciate you sharing your experience. Based on your recommendation, I had the vehicle inspected at a service center. Indeed, the AUC sensor's cable connection was defective. The repair cost was approximately 95€, as anticipated. Thank you for your assistance.
