Thanks for the quick reply. Where exactly are those sensors located, and is there any way to check them myself before taking it to a professional. Also, yes, I did scan for error codes. It shows an error related to the cruise control system, but nothing specific about the throttle position or pedal switch

The sensors are usually near the respective components; throttle sensor on the throttle body, brake pedal switch right above the pedal. Without proper tools, it's hard to diagnose. Since you have an error code already, and it points to a connection issue, I would recommend having a workshop check the wiring harness and connections related to the cruise control. It could save you a lot of time and potential frustration

Took the car to the workshop and they confirmed it was a defective connection, just like we thought. Replaced the cable, and the cruise control now works perfectly. The bill came to 95€. Thanks for the assistance

I had a similar issue with my Scala a while back. I would check the throttle position sensor and the brake pedal switch. A faulty reading from either can disable the cruise control. Have you scanned for error codes
