Skoda Scala Temperature Issues

Alright, I'm officially pulling my hair out! My 2023 Skoda Scala with a gasoline engine is giving me fits. Got 225751 km on the clock. The display is showing crazy temperature readings, the check engine light is on, and it takes forever for the engine to warm up. I'm thinking it's something to do with the cooling grille being restricted, but I'm not sure where to start looking. Any ideas?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Scala. Check the radiator grille; could be a blockage. Are you seeing any loss of coolant?

Yes, definitely check the radiator grille first. Even without coolant loss, a blockage there can cause serious car overheating problems. If it's not that, it could be a faulty sensor, but given the symptoms, I would advise to bring it to a workshop

Huge thanks for the help! Turns out it was a defective fuse related to the cooling grille. Cost me 52€ to get it sorted. What a relief!
