Thanks for the reply. The engine idle does seem a little rough, yes. Where exactly is the throttle position sensor located? I'm not very mechanically inclined, but I can usually follow instructions.

The sensor is attached to the throttle body itself. However, given that you're experiencing these symptoms and you're not very mechanically inclined, it might be best to take it to a workshop. They can properly diagnose the issue and replace the necessary parts. It does sound like the pedal module could be the culprit.

Thanks for the help. I took it to a workshop, and they confirmed it was the accelerator pedal module causing the throttle valve issue. The repair set me back 205€, but the car is running smoothly again.
