Skoda Superb AC Not Cooling
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Skoda Superb's air conditioning system stopped cooling and wouldn't switch on. The suspected cause was a defect in one of the AC system's valves. Suggestions included checking the AC relay and pressure switch, but ultimately, a workshop visit confirmed a faulty valve as the issue. The repair is underway, costing approximately 1000€.

Thank you for your reply. Where exactly is the AC relay located, and how difficult is it to check the pressure switch? Are there any specific tools required?

The relay is usually located in the fuse box, check your owner's manual for the exact location. The pressure switch is a bit more involved; you will need AC diagnostics equipment to properly assess it. Given the symptoms and your suspicion, it is most likely a valve issue, and a workshop visit is advisable.

I had the AC diagnostics performed at a workshop, and you were right a faulty valve was the culprit. The cooling system is getting repaired, and it looks like it will be around 1000€ for the complete job.

I had a similar issue with my Skoda Superb. The AC relay and pressure switch were the first things I checked. Have you inspected those? A defect in the valves of the AC system can certainly cause these symptoms.
