Skoda Superb Check Engine Light NOx Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2006 Skoda Superb with a gasoline engine displayed a check engine light, with the error memory indicating a NOx sensor failure. The issue was suspected to be caused by a defective cable or plug connection to the NOx sensor, rather than a damaged catalytic converter. Upon inspection, the problem was confirmed to be a faulty connection, which was resolved by replacing the cable and plug, successfully turning off the check engine light.

Could you give me more information? Where exactly was the defective connection located?

Yes, the connection to the NOx sensor. If the cable is damaged or the plug is corroded, the sensor won't work properly, triggering the check engine light. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop to confirm.

Thanks for the insights. I checked the NOx sensor cable and the plug connection, and you were right, that was the problem. It was an easy fix. I spent 95€ for the replacement and now the check engine light is off!

I had a similar issue with my Skoda Superb. Check the cable and plug connection of the NOx sensor. That's a common problem.
