Skoda Superb Hybrid Camshaft Sensor Issue

My 2020 Skoda Superb hybrid is playing up. Almost at 200000 km. It struggles to start and feels underpowered. The error memory suggests a defective camshaft sensor. Sounds like a cable or plug issue to me. Has anyone else experienced this sensor failure?

I had something similar happen with my Superb. The car was struggling to start and felt like I was towing a boat uphill. Do you have a check engine light on?

Yeah, the check engine light is on. Error memory is storing something about the camshaft sensor. Was yours the same sensor?

Yep, camshaft sensor for me too. Similar symptoms. If the error codes point to it, and you've checked the obvious cable connections, it's probably time to get it looked at properly at the workshop. Could be timing issues if it's not fixed.

Cheers for the advice. It was the camshaft sensor. The garage diagnosed the dodgy cable connection straight away. 95€ all in. Runs like a dream now. Happy days!
