Skoda Superb Hybrid Engine Issues

My 2022 Skoda Superb hybrid is giving me headaches. Check engine light is on, engine power is reduced, and fuel consumption is noticeably higher. Mileage is at 67109 km. I suspect a faulty exhaust temperature sensor. From what I've gathered, a leak in the exhaust system might be the culprit. Has anyone experienced this before?

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I've got a Skoda Superb too. Had a similar issue with the check engine light and sluggish performance. Was it throwing any specific error codes?

Interesting. Did your issue also point towards the emission control system? I'm getting readings that suggest a problem with the heat sensor specifically.

Yep, definitely sounds like the same thing. The error codes pointed to the exhaust temperature sensor and the engine management system was going crazy. I'd recommend getting it checked out at a workshop. They can pinpoint the exact location of the leak and replace the sensor.

Confirmed faulty exhaust temperature sensor. There was a small leak in the exhaust near the sensor, as suspected. Sensor replacement and leak repair completed. Total cost was 265€ Thanks for the advice!
