Skoda Superb Hybrid Overheating Error

Regarding the vacuum system, is there a particular area I should focus on? I understand the general principle, but I'm not intimately familiar with the Skoda Superb's hybrid engine layout. Are there any common weak points in the vacuum system that are known to cause bypass valve issues?

Given the error and the overheating, a coolant leak affecting the vacuum system seems plausible, especially if it's impacting the bypass valve's operation. It is difficult to diagnose the exact location without inspecting the vehicle. Perhaps a visit to a qualified workshop is warranted for a comprehensive assessment.

The car repair was performed. It turned out the bypass valve malfunction was indeed a consequential error. A coolant leak in the vacuum system was the root cause, and after addressing that, the bypass valve issue disappeared. The car repair was free of charge due to warranty coverage. Thank you for your insight.

Overheating and a stored error certainly sound concerning. Is there any noticeable power loss accompanying the overheating? Have you checked the coolant levels recently? It might be worthwhile to examine the vacuum system for any obvious leaks or damage before assuming the bypass valve itself is faulty.
