Skoda Yeti Diesel Vibration Issue

I am experiencing some issues with my 2009 Skoda Yeti diesel. It only has 33609 km on the clock. Recently, I've noticed uneven idling and some rather unpleasant vibrations, especially at lower RPMs. I scanned the car for errors, and it returned a fault related to the engine mount. Could a defective engine mount really cause such noticeable vibration issues? Has anyone experienced this before? I suspect a cable or plug connection of the component defective, but is it likely to be the root cause?

Uneven idling and vibration issues? Sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms with my old Opel Astra after a motor mount failure. Did you check the transmission mount as well? It might be related. Did you confirm that it is a failed mount and not something else?

A visual inspection might reveal cracks or excessive movement, but it's not always obvious. It sounds like you've already pinpointed the engine mount as the likely culprit and already suspect the wiring. To be honest, for the price of these parts and complexity of the task, I suggest taking it to a workshop.

Thanks for the help. The workshop found a defective cable/plug connection on the engine mount. The error memory also contained an entry about uneven idling. The repair was 95€. Hopefully, this resolves the vibration issues.
