Skoda Yeti temperature issue and check engine light

My 2012 Skoda Yeti with a gasoline engine is acting up. The instrument cluster shows weird temperature readings, and the check engine light is on. The engine also takes a long time to warm up. I suspect it might be a cooling grille issue, possibly a defective fuse. Has anyone else experienced this?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Yeti. The check engine light was on, and the engine was taking ages to warm up. Did you check the cooling grille itself for any obstructions before suspecting the fuse? Leaves, debris, anything like that?

I did a quick visual check, didn't see anything obvious blocking the cooling grille. Where is the fuse located? Is it something I can easily check myself, or is it buried somewhere?

If you didn't spot anything blocking the cooling grille, the fuse is a likely culprit. Honestly, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. It might save you time and potential headaches. In my case, it was a similar fuse issue causing the engine to take forever to warm up. Don't risk engine overheating, get it checked!

Took it to a shop. It was a defective fuse related to the cooling grille. Cost me 52€ to get it sorted. Thanks for the insight!
