Skyline hybrid injection issues

Hi, I've got a 2021 Nissan Skyline hybrid with 178375 km on the clock. Recently, I've noticed a few issues that seem injection-related. My fuel consumption has increased, engine power is down, and it occasionally stalls at idle. Plus, there's some smoke when I accelerate. Could it be a defective cable or plug connection?

That sounds frustrating! I had a similar problem with my 2018 Renault Megane, even though it was a diesel. Reduced power, stalling... the works! Have you checked the air intake system for any blockages or leaks? A restricted airflow can sometimes mimic fuel injection problems.

I understand your concern. In my case, after replacing some parts, the problems still appeared. I suggest to visit the workshop, they can perform a diagnostic scan to pinpoint the fault. It might save you time and prevent further damage.

Thanks a lot for your help! It turned out that a defective cable to the injector was indeed the problem! The workshop replaced it, and the total cost was 95€. Everything's running smoothly now!
