Skyline sunroof not initialized error

Hey, I've got a 2005 Nissan Skyline with a gasoline engine. My sunroof's throwing a 'not initialized' error. The sunblind is stuck, and the convertible top won't open or close. The sunblind also doesn't retract properly. Any ideas?

I had something similar with my Skyline. It sounds like the coding might be messed up, especially if you've been messing around with any of the car's systems. Did you do any recent modifications or software changes? The sunroof system is pretty sensitive.

Yeah, I did do some coding recently. So, what exactly did you do to fix it? Did you reset something?

The long and short of it is that you will need to have the sunroof system recalibrated, or reset. There are tutorials online on how to do this, but it didn't work for me, or others I know. In the end, I went to a workshop. It cost me 75€. They ran a diagnostic and recalibrated the sunroof. Fixed the problem immediately.

Thanks, man. Took your advice and went to a workshop. Recalibration sorted it out. Cost me 75€, just like you said.
