SLC Washer Fluid Warning Light Issue

My 2016 Mercedes SLC Diesel shows a "washer fluid low" warning, but the level seems fine and the system doesn't work. There's also an error stored. It's only done 19828 km. Could it be a faulty sensor?

I had a similar issue with my SLC. Check if the nozzles are blocked. They can clog and cause problems even with a full reservoir. It's an easy thing to check before worrying about sensors.

Where are the nozzles located, and how do I check them? Can I do it myself, or do I need special tools?

They're on the hood, pointing at the windshield. Use a needle or pin to clean them. That fixed it for me once. If that doesn't work, a workshop visit might be needed; it could be a defective pump.

Turns out the wiper water level was lower than I thought. Topping it up fixed the problem, and the light is gone. The repair cost 25€.
