SM3 Stiff Steering and Vibration

I'm writing about a potential issue with my 2016 Renault SM3, gasoline engine, ~52000 km. Steering requires increased effort, feels like power steering fails intermittently. The steering wheel vibrates, especially at lower speeds. Could this be the steering angle sensor?

I experienced similar symptoms in my SM3. The vibrating steering wheel and reduced power steering assistance are concerning. Have you had the sensor checked for proper calibration or coding? Faulty coding can cause those issues.

Coding requires specialized tools, beyond most generic OBDII scanners. Best to bring it to a reputable workshop with the right equipment. In my case, there was an error. After the replacement, everything worked.
