SM3 Sun Blind Failure

Has anyone had issues with the sun blind on a 2016 Renault SM3 with a gasoline engine? Mine's done 188009 km. It's stuck, won't retract or extend, and there's an error code. Diagnostics suggest the motor's gone.

Interesting. I have an SM3 myself, and I had something similar happen a while back. Was it making any weird noises before it completely gave up? Like a clicking or grinding sound when you tried to use it?

Yep, sounds exactly like what happened to mine. No warning, just stopped working one day. I fiddled with it for a bit, but honestly, I'd just take it to a workshop. Could be the motor, like you suspect. They'll be able to diagnose it properly and give you a proper fix.

Thanks for the confirmation and advice. I'm taking it to a workshop for a diagnosis and repair. The estimated cost is around 330€.
