Smartphone connection error

I had a similar issue on my Puma. Have you tried checking the vehicle's ignition system alongside your phone's Bluetooth settings? A weak or unstable electrical supply during the pairing process can sometimes cause this issue.

In my case, the connection was completely non-functional. The workshop identified a minor fault in the car's communication module that was impacting the Bluetooth pairing. They advised that any amateur attempts to fix this can cause further damage, and suggested that you take yours to a workshop too.

Thanks! I appreciate the advice. I took it to the workshop as you suggested. Turns out it was a minor software glitch. A re-flash of the system, costing 45€, resolved the connection issues. Everything is working perfectly now.
