SpaceTourer blower motor AUC sensor issue

I'm having a weird issue with my 2018 Citroen SpaceTourer diesel. The blower motor isn't working at all, and I suspect it might be the AUC sensor. For those who don't know, the AUC sensor, or Automatic Air Recirculation sensor, is responsible for measuring the air quality and controlling the air recirculation flap in the climate control system. I've got about 127845 km on the clock. I did some digging online, and some people are saying a faulty AUC sensor can cause this. I saw a suggestion that the cable or plug connection could be defective. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on where to start looking?

I've got a SpaceTourer (though I can't remember what year it is exactly), and I had something similar happen last winter. The whole climate control seemed to go nuts, and the blower just packed it in. I remember reading something about the AUC sensor being a pain. Did you check the fuses? Sometimes it's the simple things that get you!

Yeah, I did check the fuses, but nothing seems to be out. When you say 'similar,' do you mean the blower motor completely stopped, or was it intermittent? And did you eventually figure out it WAS the AUC sensor?

Completely stopped! Stone dead. And yeah, after a whole load of messing about, I'm pretty sure it was something to do with that air quality sensor. To be honest, I just took it to a workshop and they sorted it out. Saved myself a massive headache.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like I'm heading down the workshop route too. I appreciate the confirmation that it might be AUC related. Just got the repair bill: 95€, as a defective cable or plug connection of the component has been identified as the culprit for the AUC sensor fault. Thanks again!
