Summary of the thread
A 2020 Citroen SpaceTourer diesel with 101,137 km is experiencing reduced engine power and smoke during acceleration, suspected to be due to a diesel particulate filter (DPF) issue. Thanks for your response! How did you resolve your issue? And what kind of sensor faults should I be looking for specifically? Is filter replacement necessary, or can cleaning solve the problem?

In my case, the issue was indeed the DPF, and unfortunately cleaning didn't fully resolve it. I ended up needing a filter replacement. Based on the symptoms, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop to get a proper diagnosis and avoid further damage to the exhaust system.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience! I took your advice and went to a workshop; they confirmed that my DPF was defective and quoted me 1550€ for the repair. Appreciate your help!

I had similar symptoms with my SpaceTourer, could be a DPF issue. Have you tried DPF cleaning or checking for any sensor faults in the exhaust system? Also, when was the last time you performed a regeneration?
