SpaceTourer error messages

I've got a 2023 Citroen SpaceTourer (electric engine) that's throwing some errors. The dash is showing an error message, it's also in the infotainment system, and there's something stored in the error memory when I hook it up to a diagnostic scanner. I suspect it might be incorrect vehicle coding. Has anyone run into this?

Interesting. I have a SpaceTourer myself, and I had a similar problem a while back. It turned out to be a control module needing a re-flash. Did your scan tool give you any specific fault codes? Knowing that might help narrow it down.

Yeah, the scan tool pointed to a general malfunction indicator. I'm not sure if it's related to the engine diagnostics. Did your scan tool show something similar, or was it more specific?

Mine was pretty vague at first, too. Initially, it pointed towards a broader system issue, but after digging a little deeper, the technician was able to pinpoint it to the control module needing a software refresh. Honestly, with those symptoms and the mileage you're at (238283 km is quite a bit!), I'd suggest taking it to a workshop with the right diagnostic equipment. It could save you a lot of headache in the long run.

Thanks for the insight! I took it to a local shop, and you were spot on. Incorrect vehicle coding was the problem, and a re-flash of the control module sorted it out. Cost me 360€, but at least it's fixed.
