SpaceTourer Oil Pressure Warning Light
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Citroen SpaceTourer displayed an oil pressure warning light, raising concerns about potential engine damage. The oil appeared dark, suggesting contamination. The issue was likely due to overdue maintenance, specifically a clogged oil filter. A workshop visit confirmed this, and replacing the oil and filter resolved the problem.

It's been a while, maybe longer than it should have been. Could exceeding the maintenance interval really cause this? What did you end up doing about it?

Yes, exceeding the interval was the problem for me. It's like not changing the filter in your vacuum cleaner; eventually, it stops working well. Best get it checked at a workshop to avoid bigger issues.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to the workshop, and it turned out the oil was contaminated due to the overdue maintenance. New oil and filter change, cost me 165€. Problem solved!

I also have a SpaceTourer. Had something similar happen. How long has it been since your last service? Maybe your oil filter is clogged, like a drain that's full of hair.
