Spark cruise control failure
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Chevrolet Spark experienced a cruise control failure without any dashboard warning lights, but a generic fault code was stored. Initial checks of the brake light switch and fuses were unsuccessful. A potential cause could be a defective speed sensor or throttle position sensor. However, a similar issue was resolved by identifying a faulty cable or plug connection, which was confirmed and repaired at a workshop.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Interesting! Do you, by any chance, remember which component or area had the defective connection? Was it something obvious to spot, or did it require a multimeter?

Unfortunately I don't remember exactly where the defect was. You would need measuring instruments for this. I would recommend that you have it checked directly in the workshop.

Alright, I understand. Thanks for your help anyway. I had the car at the workshop - it was actually a defective connector, just as you predicted! Repair cost me 95€, so not too bad in the end.

I had a similar problem with my Spark. I vaguely remember that the root cause was a faulty cable or plug connection. I can't remember exactly where but I'd start by visually inspecting all the connectors you can easily reach.
