Good shout on the fuses, will double check. The error code is annoyingly vague, just points to the adjustment motor circuit. Whereabouts would I find the sensor you mentioned?

If the code is that generic, and fuses are good, a wiring issue is most likely. The sensor, if present on your model, would be near the motor itself. Honestly, chasing electrical gremlins in the steering is sketchy. I'd get it to a workshop before ripping into it.

Cheers for the advice. Took it to a local shop, and it was indeed a corroded connector as suspected. 95€ later and it's sorted. Appreciate the heads up!

Sounds like a fun one! Have you checked the fuses? Does the error code give you any more specific details besides "defective"? Could be a sensor issue as well.
