Spin diesel intermittent starting problem
Summary of the thread
A Chevrolet Spin (2016, diesel) with 30162 km is experiencing an intermittent starting problem, indicated by an error message: "Terminal 15 ignition positive interrupted." The potential causes include a defective cable or plug connection, issues with the starter solenoid, circuit break, power supply, relay switch, or battery terminal. The vehicle is completely dead with no crank, suggesting a problem with the relay or power supply to the starter. It is recommended to visit a workshop for a thorough diagnosis and repair.

Completely dead, no crank. Where exactly is the main power relay located on your Spin? Is there a specific cable you would suggest checking first?

Okay, completely dead points towards the relay or a break in the power supply to the starter. On my Spin, the main power relay is in the engine compartment fuse box. Honestly, without proper tools, finding the exact break can be tricky and potentially dangerous. Considering the 'cable or plug connection defective' message, and to prevent further damage, I'd suggest a workshop visit. My bill was 95€ after everything.

Wow, that sounds frustrating! I have a Spin, too. Had a similar issue last year, though the error code was slightly different. Does it crank at all, or is it completely dead? Did you check the main power relay?
