Thanks I checked the connections under the seats, but didn't find anything loose When you say 'faulty sensor,' do you remember which one it was on your Volvo Or how you tracked it down I am trying to do as much as possible myself, but automotive safety and airbag systems make me nervous

I can't recall the exact sensor, but the shop used a diagnostic tool to pinpoint it It's like trying to find a single bad Christmas light bulb without knowing where to start Based on your description, and since you checked the obvious connections, I would suggest taking it to a workshop A proper scan will tell you exactly what's going on and could save you a lot of time and potential airbag deployment headaches It's probably a good idea to avoid any vehicle safety issues

Thanks for the advice I took it to a shop, they ran a scan, and it turned out to be a faulty connector on one of the side airbags They cleaned and secured it and charged me 95€ The airbag warning light is gone I appreciate the help

Sounds familiar I had a similar airbag issue with my old Volvo Constant warning light From my experience, it could be a simple fix, like a loose connector under the seat, or something more involved Did you check those connections first The airbag repair on that Volvo was like chasing a ghost Sometimes the simplest things cause the biggest headaches It could also be a faulty sensor
