Sprinter cruise control malfunction
Summary of the thread
A 2023 electric Mercedes Sprinter experienced a malfunctioning cruise control system, with no dashboard warnings but an OBD reader indicating a cruise control error. Possible causes considered included issues with connections, cables, plugs, the fuse box, speed sensor, brake light switch, or clock spring. Good point about the brake light I'll check it tomorrow Where is the speed sensor located and is it easily accessible? Are the cruise control stalk connections inside the steering wheel column? I'm hesitant to work there due to the airbags

Yes, the brake light switch is a simple fix If it's not that, a workshop should inspect it They can check the speed sensor and cable or plug connection My repair cost 95€

Cruise control issues on Sprinters can be complex Did you verify the brake light? A faulty brake light switch can disable cruise control for safety It's also worth inspecting the speed sensor Have you checked the cruise control stalk connections?
